Beyond the fear,
lies the truth.

Science meets the supernatural. We respond to reported phenomena with calibrated instruments and a working hypothesis that most hauntings have an answer — and a quiet conviction that some don't.

Waqar Raj — Technical Head & Paranormal Expert
Welcome to the Indian Paranormal Society (IPS). As the Technical Head & Paranormal Expert, I am pleased to welcome you to a platform committed to the professional study and responsible investigation of paranormal phenomena. At IPS, we believe that every unexplained claim deserves a systematic approach based on scientific methodology, technical analysis, documented evidence, and ethical investigation. Ram Ashok Kumar — Founder
"Based on nearly three decades of experience, HOME investigations, direct observations, and the study of numerous unusual phenomena, I believe that the question of ghosts, spirits, or consciousness surviving physical death cannot be dismissed as mere folklore or superstition. It is my firm conviction that there are certain events and experiences that conventional science has not yet been able to fully understand or explain. This is why I continue to approach this field with an open mind, a research-oriented perspective, and an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of truth."

§ 01 · About the unit

Indian Paranormal Society is a field unit of investigators, technicians, and skeptics. We document what's there, what isn't, and the uncomfortable space between.

Founded in 2003 after a single, unwitnessable event on streets of Delhi, the unit has investigated 1000 sites across 14 states. Most are explained. A few are not. We publish both with equal care.
